Chinese characters matching
The goal of this game is to match up the character, pinyin name, and definition. There are various sets of cards that you can choose below. By default, you can play with 52 cards, based on the radicals Earth, Fire, Water, and Wood.
All cards are visible at all times; cards that have not been matched have a blue border; characters that have been selected have a green border; characters that have been correctly matched have a red border.
Mobile devices seem to have a problem with showing the third card before notifying you of the result. If this happens to you, please check the "Delay Message" box.
You can adjust the size of the images to some extent using the "Enlarge" and "Reduce" buttons. A mobile device may have a limit to how small it can make the images.
The game keeps track of the number of hits (matching sets that you found), and misses (cards that you had tried to match before and again matched up incorrectly). If you turn over three cards that do not match, you will have zero, one, or three misses, depending on how many cards you had tried to match before.
Internet Explorer seems to have difficulty showing the longer definitions. I have tested with Firefox, Opera, Safari, and Google Chrome, all of which do better, so you may want to use one of them instead.
